1025 Dokdo Lotion

The daily moisturizer that earns its place by doing nothing wrong. Triple-format hyaluronic acid, macadamia oil, licorice for mild brightening, centella for calm — built on Dokdo deep-sea mineral water. Fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and compatible with every routine step and skin type. The benchmark for a quietly excellent lightweight moisturizer.

What it does

The real benefit

Glycerin (position 2) is the best-studied humectant in dermatology. The triple HA approach (Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate at different molecular weights) reaches different skin depths — particularly the hydrolyzed fraction which penetrates more effectively than standard HA. Macadamia oil closely mirrors skin's own fatty acid profile (high in palmitoleic acid), supporting barrier lipid replenishment with low comedogenicity risk. Licorice root extract contains glabridin with published depigmentation evidence. Centella Asiatica Extract provides soothing and mild barrier support. Panthenol adds well-documented barrier and hydration benefits.

What it does not

The honest limits

The Dokdo deep-sea mineral water is the marketing hero, but appears at position 8 in the INCI — behind glycerin and macadamia oil — with no peer-reviewed evidence showing outcomes superior to any other hydration source. Not a treatment product: licorice and centella are at functional but likely low concentrations, and will not substitute for a dedicated brightening or soothing serum in a targeted routine. Not designed for dehydration crises — pair with a serum during dry seasons.

How to use

Moisturizer step after toner and serums. Morning and evening. A small amount to full face and neck; layers comfortably under any sunscreen. Can be used standalone for minimal routines or under a richer cream in dry conditions.
