Toner

Numbuzin

No.3 Super Glowing Essence Toner

Fifty fermented ingredients and niacinamide at ~2.5% — a first step that conditions and brightens without weight. The lightweight gel texture absorbs in seconds and makes everything applied after it work better. Worth knowing: this toner does not contain Galactomyces — that's the matching No.3 Serum.

What it does

The real benefit

Niacinamide at ~2.5% is clinically documented to reduce melanosome transfer between skin cells, meaning dark spots and uneven tone visibly improve with consistent use — published data supports this at 2–5% concentrations (Hakozaki et al., BJD 2002). The 50-ferment complex contributes humectant, antioxidant, and microbiome-supportive activity, though individual ferment concentrations are undisclosed. Adenosine has modest clinical evidence for wrinkle reduction. The formula is genuinely brightening and hydrating; the brand's 52.89% radiance improvement claim comes from an internal consumer panel with undisclosed methodology.

What it does not

The honest limits

Does not contain Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate — the brand's visual marketing groups the No.3 Toner and No.3 Serum together, but only the serum contains the 21% Galactomyces. Not suitable for fragrance-reactive or sensitive skin: contains geranium essential oil, geraniol, and citronellol — all potential contact allergens listed in the INCI. At ~2.5% niacinamide, brightening is real but moderate, not transformative.

Ritual

How to use

Apply after cleansing as the first hydration step. Pour a small amount onto palms or a cotton pad and press into skin; allow to fully absorb before applying serums. Morning and evening.
