Hyper Retinol EX 1.0 Serum
The cleanest entry point into retinoid treatment for anyone who has bounced off pure retinol before. The '1.0' is a total retinoid complex: 0.1% retinol, 0.3% retinyl palmitate, 0.6% bakuchiol — stabilized in cyclodextrin, cushioned by five ceramides and five peptides. The real benefit
The 0.1% retinol is a beginner-safe dose with well-established clinical evidence for wrinkle reduction and texture improvement, enhanced by cyclodextrin encapsulation for stability. Bakuchiol at 0.6% adds retinoid-mimetic activity — the Dhaliwal 2019 RCT showed 0.5% bakuchiol twice daily comparable to 0.5% retinol for fine lines and pigmentation, with significantly less irritation. The ceramide complex (NP, NS, AS, AP, EOP) with cholesterol and phytosphingosine closely mirrors the skin's own lipid matrix, documented to reinforce barrier function. Copper Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 are the best-evidenced cosmetic peptides for collagen support.
What it does not
The honest limits
This is not a 1% pure retinol product — pure retinol is 0.1%. Experienced retinol users expecting 1% potency should look elsewhere. Retinyl palmitate is significantly weaker than retinol (requires two enzymatic conversion steps to retinoic acid). Results require 8–12 weeks of consistent PM use. Not safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not layer with AHAs, BHAs, or another retinoid at the same step.

How to use
PM only. Apply after water-based serums and before moisturizer. Start two nights per week, build to nightly over 4–6 weeks. A pea-sized amount for the full face. Follow with a ceramide moisturizer.
